Austin K9Xpress General Membership Meeting

September 21, 2004 – Tricia Hastings Home

Present: Jaime Margiotta, Tricia Hastings, Jean Good, Mary Marshall, Sheri Pillard, Jane Trainham, Caroline Taylor, Valerie Crawford, Suzanne Antonowich, Cheryl Croft, Sue Lindsay, Bill Cory, Troy Tyner, Tasha Tyner, Kim Galusha, Shari Kolding, Jaime Davis, Kimberly Hall, Diana Wilkins, Karen Kimbrough, Mindy Vescovo & John Hemphill.

Meeting was called to order at 7:00PM

Secretary’s Report: Shari moved to accept last meetings minutes, Valerie seconded – motion passed.

Treasures Report: Tricia has Income & Expense reports complete and are available for any member to look at.

The check for the new dog walk was mailed.

Training Report –Training is going well. Effective 10/9/04 all classes will be on Saturday with the exception of the EEM Class which will still meet Wednesdays.

New Members: We welcome, Helen Bergold, Nancy Reinert & Teresa Mathews as our three new members.

Important Dates – Next meeting will be Nov 17^th at Suzanne Antonowich’s home at 7PM.

AKC Trial Report: It was a successful trial, Sterling, Gerry Brown’s Border Collie won the Digit Award. The net profit for the show was $5200.

NADAC/ASCA/AMBOR Trial Report: The trial is in March of 2005. There are several committee positions still available. Contact Kim Galusha if you would like to assist on the committee. There is the possibility of a fun run on Friday night after the seimar at the Hays County Civic Center.

TTouch Seminar: The seminar is full for working spaces but there are an unlimited number of audit spaces.

New Board: The new board was voted in, the officers of the club are as follows:

President: Jane Trainham

Vice President: Wade Pelton

Secretary: Sue Lindsay

Treasurer: Tricia Hastings

Member at Large: Suzanne Antonowich

Member at Large: Kimberly Hall

The meeting day has been officially changed to Wednesdays beginning in November. The meeting will be held the third Wednesday of each odd numbered month.

Newsletter Editor: There is a need for a Newsletter Editor if anyone is interested. Contact Jane if interested.

Web Page Administrator: Jane has taken over as Web Master with Lori Fennell’s assistance. Any input regarding the website dhould be directed to Jane.

Special Award: In honor of Wade Pelton’s 70^th birthday the club has presented him with a Lifetime Membership. Congratulations & Happy 70^th Birthday!

At 8:15 Jaime moved to adjourn, Kim seconded – motion passed.
