SUMMER 2016 AGILITY LEAGUE
3 weeks with “Team” Scoring!
DATES: Sundays: July 3, 10, and 17 (July 23 rain date)
TIME: 9 – 10:30 AM
WHERE: 11101 Slaughter Creek Drive, Austin Texas 78748
TEAMS: Teams consist of 2 dogs and up to 2 handlers. 2 runs per day per dog.
COST: $96/team (=$48/dog) for 3 days (6 runs per dog!) If room is available, dogs may be entered on a week-by-week basis for $16/day. Contact Joy ahead of time to reserve a spot!
COURSE STYLE: All courses are AKC Open and USDAA Advanced level. Competitors will run 2 courses each day in a walk/run format. July 3: Standard July 10: Tunnels & Jumps July 17: Relay (full-length courses for each team member!)
PRIZES: Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams: up to $40 for first, $20 second, and $10 for third place teams!
FEO /TRAINING IN THE RING: FEO (for exhibition only) is allowed. You may train with toys or non-crumbly treats. 90 seconds max time allowed.
TEAM ARRANGEMENTS: Competitors can make their own team arrangements OR they may enter as a draw. 2 dogs per team (can have the same handler). One substitute dog and one substitute handler allowed per team.
SCORING: Team scores for each run will be calculated as a percentage of the median score for each run, with an upper cap of 150% for the top score and 50% for the lowest score. Additional details and example calculations will be included in the registration packet.
